Iphone Zoom App Does Not Have Virtual Background

Unlike on the pc you cannot apply or change your virtual background on zoom before entering a meeting.

Iphone zoom app does not have virtual background. Under in meeting advanced turn virtual background on. Go to zoom us and sign in to your account. If you wish to choose your own background tap on the button and then select a preferred background from your camera roll.

Open the zoom app on your iphone or ipad and join host a meeting. However you can change this setting to apply to all meetings. The virtual background feature works best from a computer since you can also use video files but if you have an iphone you can at least use photos in zoom s ios app to transport yourself to another destination or world.

At this time the android app does not support the feature. If you re using zoom on your phone android or ios you can only apply virtual background on zoom after you enter the meeting screen. If your virtual background is not showing up when you start a meeting do the following.

If you re not able to open the latest version of zoom you may need to update your mac or pc operating system. Go to settings on the left. To use zoom virtual background on your phone open the zoom app and start join a meeting. Once you re in an video call tap on the triple dot icon at the bottom right corner of your screen to access more options.

Launch zoom from your home screen. During the meeting hit the more button at the bottom right corner of the screen now select virtual background in the menu. Also it only works for iphone 8 or newer and ipad pro and the 5th and 6th generation ipad 9 7 or newer.
